He is also a freelance violinist, leading several amateur orchestras in London and the orchestra of Opera East Productions. He has performed the Brahms, Mendelssohn and Beethoven concertos with various orchestras around the UK.
In 2003 Tom was a member of South Bank Sinfonia and was subsequently commissioned by them to write the piece Always an Explorer. Tom’s compositions have also been performed at the Aldburgh Festival, the Royal Festival Hall and have been broadcast on BBC Radio 2.

EMMA GREENWOOD is a graduate of Oxford University and holds a post-graduate diploma in performance studies from Trinity College of Music where she studied with Stephen Stirling. She now freelances with orchestra such as the BBC Symphony, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and City of London Sinfonia as well as pursuing a busy solo and chamber music career. She has travelled across Europe, South America and India with various orchestras and has performed concertos across the UK and, recently, in Bulgaria.
As a participant at Chamber Music International Emma became interested in using theatre and movement in choreographing chamber music works and has since worked on various such projects with the New London Chambe Ensemble. She is currently studying the Lecoq approach to physical theatre with Lucien MacDougall at Richmond Adult Community College.

DANIEL BROWELL studied music at Birmingham University and in Paris, with Jeremy Brown and Laurence Allix. He has consequently performed in Birmingham, London and around Europe, in addition to participating in festivals in Corsica, Courchevel and Lidkoping. Upon Returning to England, Daniel began postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Colin Stone, where he is in his final year of a Masters degree. Last year his performances included Berio’s Points on the Curve to Find… and Linea in the South Bank Berio festival Omaggio.
In addition to solo repertoire Daniel is a keen chamber musician and future projects include a performance of Bartok’s sonata for two pianos and percussion and performances with the newly formed Sounds Underground ensemble.
Most recently Daniel was awarded the E M George prize at the Academy, and was a prize winner in the 2004 British Music Society piano competition.
