She holds a Cambridge Instrumental Award for chamber music and an instrumental bursary from Churchill College.
During the Queen's Golden Jubilee she had the privilege of playing in a quartet for her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh in the State dining room of Buckingham Palace. Solo performances include the Wigmore Hall, Leeds Town Hall, the Purcell Room, the Fitzwilliam Museum and Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge, and Bruch's Kol Nidrei with the Orchestra on the Hill, and The Crowndale Symphony Orchestra. She has been awarded bursaries from the Dartington International Summer School for a number of years, and has participated in masterclasses with Lyn Harrell, Alexander Baillie, Robert Cohen, Karine Georgian and Colin Carr.
Morwenna studies the ‘cello with Josephine Knight, with whom she will continue in September on the postgraduate performance diploma course at the Royal Academy of Music.

SUSIE SUMMERS read music at Cambridge University, graduating in 2001. Having studied the piano with the late Ronald Smith, she now studies with Michael Dussek, who is a Professor at the Royal Academy of Music.
In 2004 Susie gave a duo recital with violinist Emily Steinitz at the Ryedale Festival and the duo will appear at the 2005 Lake District Summer Music Festival, giving a recital as part of the ‘Rising Stars’ series. Other engagements in 2005 include recitals in the Guildford International Festival, in Cheltenham Town Hall and at the Benslow Music Trust as well as in numerous smaller venues.
The last year has also seen Susie make major chamber music appearances at St John’s, Smith Square, St James’, Piccadilly, and The Purcell School.
Susie also accompanies students all over London, including from the major conservatoires. She is a Junior School Accompanist at Trinity College of Music, having previously held this post at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
